Authors
In its short history EVE-Mag has featured News Eden’s finest writers. Here is a list of authors who have published their works with us: (in no particular order)
Jaret Kosh’t / Tejas Koshy
In-Game Character
A relative newcomer to the darkness of space, Jaret Kosh’t is a bit of mystery, A former Caldari Pathfinder Marine, Jaret has made a switch from the being an elite member of the Marines to being a capsuleer. He already has made his mark with several law enforcement agents, who have been impressed with his ability to complete their missions. Additionally he has also somewhat earned the ire of organizations such as the Guristas and the Blood Raiders. A former member of Brute Force Missions Inc. this capsuleer, had big plans in the future.
Real-world character (whatever that means)
Behind the icy demeanor is Tejas Koshy. He is a resident of Canada and currently is a
university student. A rabid Maple Leaf’s fan and a self confessed nerd, Tejas splits his time between studies, running and getiting his ass handed to him in EVE Online. He has been hooked on EVE online, since the trial (thanks to his pa’s, Brute Force Missions Inc.) and is currently going to reactivate his account.
Moof / Malc B
Moof the legend that is, well in my mind anyway lol. I am a member of a low sec pirate corp that flies around the Bleak lands, looking for trouble and fun. I have done mining and hauling in my previous corps and also run missions. A friend talked me in to trying out being a pirate and I have never looked back. I fly all ships up to battle ship/command and some caps and am always looking for a fight and before you ask yes I do personally honour ransoms.
Outside of EVE
I have 2 kids and a GF and spend my time with them and when they sleep I play EVE lol, althought GF aggro can sometime reduce my play time. I work in London, which is not very exciting and cant wait for each day to be over so I can go home.
Casiella Truza / Kyle Maxwell
Kyle Maxwell is a happily married father of two and information security investigator from Dallas, Texas. Known among many of his friends as “the übergeek,” he has a degree in mathematics and a deep passion for science fiction. Previously, he played Star Wars Galaxies, where he served a short stint as the Roleplay Senator under the name “Kupyi Labe,” and has now moved from the Galaxy Far Far Away to New Eden for the foreseeable future.
He plays two characters in EVE Online: Casiella Truza, a hacker & researcher who runs a small trading corporation, and Ghost Outrider, a Thukker pilot currently fighting for the Minmatar militia. Primarily, he focuses on gameplay with added yummy roleplay flavor, spending most of his EVE time on market PVP, defensive FW, and writing.
Kyle writes two blogs: Chrome Bits, on MMORPGs and the social web, and Ecliptic Rift, on EVE Online and everything that surrounds it. He also maintains a Twitter account, @casiella, exclusively devoted to EVE Online.
Zean xulunta / Brandon Carroll
Brandon has been a player since mid 08′. He found eve online after playing an extensive career in world of warcraft and dark ages of camelot. Zean in game is a minmatar pilot who has found him self immersed in the combat side of the eve universe playing from almost every aspect a combat pilot can… including mercing, Faction warfare, 0.0 combat and more recently pirating. Eve just seemed like the best mmo for him as it was not constricting with its sandbox play style and the community it has developed.
Out of game, Brandon enjoys many things including photography, which he hopes will become his career, running, sports, and playing various video games.

Soleramnus / Daniel Anderson
First, the in-game character:
Soleramnus—known simply as “Sol” to close friends and contacts—is one of the more mysterious residents of Gallentean space, but most say that she knows much more, and has ties to people more powerful, than one might first think on meeting her. A calm, kind demeanor, but an overwhelming sense of otherworldliness—and a dedication to something other than the almighty ISK—follows her wherever she goes, and tends to create an impression at first meetings. Some say her humble rig manufacturing and trade operations are a cover for something much deeper, more elusive, than one might think. But unlike most Gallenteans, she seems to be quite pleased with keeping most of those secrets to herself.
Now, the out-of-game character:
The man behind the red-haired mask is Daniel Anderson—freelance graphic and web designer, artist, and writer (in his spare time, when he has it). When he’s not playing EVE, Daniel is most often keeping his real-life clients happy, considering the philosophical implications of the internet lifestyle, and continuing the endless quest towards the perfect cappucino. You may find his design portfolio (and other work) at secondseraph.
Malori Veneer (a.k.a Gustav Malori) / Sam Guss
Sam Guss is 38 and lives in Birmingham, AL with his sweetheart. With two dogs, one cat he is an ecclectic guy very much into computer gaming (Eve-Online, WoW, XBox-360) and RPG games – mainly D&D 4E and Shadowrun and dabbles in photography. He has been writing articles for local newspapers and magazines since he was 13 years old, and for webzines, newsletters and websites for the past 15 years. An aspiring science fiction author, he is currently working on his first novel and sees writing for Eve-Mag as a way to combine his talents and passions into one.
In the real world, Sam is a marketing manager for a residential water treatment company with up to 25 employees and works a swing shift there. This leaves him with plenty of gaming and writing time during the late night as well as the late mornings before work. He is a movie buff, an avid reader and enjoys classical music.
In Eve-Online, he plays a Caldari pilot/miner named Malori Veneer in low-sec space out in Black Rise. He only started playing on June 4, 2008 but has picked up the game fairly well for a newbie. He started off playing (and still does) with real life friends in PGGB out of Emolgran/Lustervik and is now in UNV out of Teskanen. He also plays a Minmatar capsuler by the name of Gustaf Matariel. You are welcomed to contact him in game at any time. Currently he is looking to learn more about 0.0 politics and what it means to fly and run in 0.0 space.
ShardowRhino
Who is Rhino? He is the CEO of a small corp. for roughly 2 years. He started out as a 0.0 miner in LSC4-P within 2 days after first entering Caldari space. Later SR returned to empire space to start up LotDx with a group of friends from a different region of space. They claim to be from a planet named “Auraxis”. The planet has not been charted on any map to date. After spending 6 months as an Industrialist, primarily in low security zones, he moved onto aiding the fleet of Ammatar. From there rejoined other “Auraxians” in the “RoadKill” alliance as part of the “TOG” organization.
Not much is known about the 6 month stint as of yet other then the likelihood of participating in a few of stream of wardecs against RK, particularly against TRI. The stay in RK ended apparently on good terms primarily due to availability and timing of fleet ops. After an apparent break SR brought the corp. under the banner of the 24th Imperial Crusade, the Amarrian militia where they are currently recruiting and stockpiling weaponry and combat vessels.
The SR of RL is a life long Gamer from the southern half of California of the United States. Unapologetically American, outspoken, some would say “arrogant”, “pompous” and “audacious”. Always bringing the hammer that is Logic to conversations, discussions and outright arguments. Currently looking to break into I.T. but has an eye on creating a business of his own and possibly a restaurant some day. However the idea of finding a job to “blow SH*T UP!” is the most appealing. Writing is 2nd to the idea of a job dealing destruction and mayhem when it comes to the length of time it has been of interest. This interest has increased after hearing a newscaster suggest that to a specific author “Writing is Fighting”. Thoughts of freelance, opinion based writing and or short stories, have played through the mind of SR, sort of a literary gun for hire. Yeah… I like the sound of that.
SR is 28 years of age as of this writing. A long time BattleTech and ShadowRun fan, since the age of 16. A fan of techno/electronica since the age of 17, favorites include The Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, Orbital, Future Sound of London as well as Paul Van Dyke. SR has always been interested in military history, military science and tech as well as the personal story of those that have been a part of the turning points of history. One day hoping to find a nice Scores like girl, the site , to settle down with, oh yeah!
Havohej / Ernest Cloven
The character Havohej was intended to be a cross between your rough and tumble Han Solo type and a more refined, calculating Doc Holliday (a la “Tombstone”), mixing discerning wit and an ability to assess strategic points with the ability to think on one’s feet and ultimately the willingness to put it all on the line. After all, no matter what you do in New Eden it’s always a gamble.
Having run his own corporation for the better part of a year, going from Empire to 0.0 as a part of an RSF alliance, to an independent alliance and finally back to its lowsec roots, the corporation became a hodge podge of various types of capsuleers which in the long run would have proven to be irreconcilable with one another. Rather than allow dramatic situations to arise and kill the corporation for good, Havohej decided that it would be best to split the corporation’s assets with his Industrial Director and shut the doors for a time. Now Havo flies with Comply Or Die as a part of the G00DFELLAS alliance and is loving every second of it.
The player behind Havohej is Ernest Cloven, a rather unremarkable character about whom there really isn’t much to be said other than the fact that he’s the sort of person who will risk everything for the sake of a principle. Omelets and eggs, after all. The only other thing I could say about myself is that I’m a huge forum troll; I’ve been banned from the EVE-O forum three times so far and I probably will again, and soon. That’s okay, though, it’s not the only forum I frequent!
Mothermoon aka Mr.Greetings / Jaron DiTommaso
In real life Jaron DiTommaso is an art student in Washington State, learning the trade and aiming for a job in the industy. He is enagaged to a wonderful women named Stephanie who also plays the game with him, but also tears him away from it, thus saving his social life. When he’s not playing EVE he’s roller blading at Stake King! or out dancing. You’ll never find him without a sketch book, and he loves drawing from life everything he can find. His final aim is a job at the top of the world working as a 3D artist for CCP.
In EVE Online he plays mothermoon, a long time member of roleplay corperation based around the Asian bloodline of the Minmatar. He currently enjoys fighting in Factional Warfare, and you’ll commonly see him leading fleets into battle with his trusty command ship or going it alone with only his wingmate, Mica Sawnhaven.
However most of time you’ll see him on the forums posting his opinions, making people angry and stuff like that.
Ix Forres / James Harrison
James Harrison, better known as Ix Forres, is an EVE player from Oxford in the UK. He’s best known in the EVE community for his collection of EVE-related websites- ISKsense, EVE Metrics, Gatecamper and RLS-EVE- and his role in the third-party developer community. With around 4 years of EVE experience under his belt, including plenty of 0.0 combat, alliance subterfuge (Notably in the GBC/NC MAX campaign as a lead FC and scout coordinator for IRON) and empire carebearing.
A proud director of the Vanguard Frontiers corporation, now with a small alliance called Violent-Tendencies, Ix spends his time programming, writing, helping in developer IRC channels and finding security flaws. Thanks to a sheer refusal of the standards of common courtesy when it comes to pointing out problems in everything from operating systems to gameplay mechanics, he enjoys a reputation for his clear, usually quietly spoken objections and His specialities are in information theory and security, and has a long-running interest in cryptography and ELINT.
He listens to everything from alternative/rock to classical, D&B to trance, with a special love of Muse, R.E.M. and Armin van Buuren. He maintains a blog on 3rd party EVE development, Ruby on Rails and applied cryptography at Talk Unafraid.
Vaden Khale / Brandon Speight
In game, Vaden Khale is a devout follower of the Sani Sabik faith, one who consistently partakes in human sacrifice and blood lettings of those he has captured in performance of his duties as a pirate. He is a member of the united, an infamous corp hated by most of the New Eden galaxy. Despite his religious beliefs, he is an Amarrian loyalist, and takes great pleasure in seeing the enemies of the empire fall.
Out of game, Brandon Speight is a Food Science senior at Kansas State university. When not staying up late playing Eve, he studies and hangs out with his roommates and works. He’s been playing Eve for over a year, and would have been playing for longer if he hadn’t been convinced of the futility of MMOs for the longest time. Then his roommates convinced him to try the trial and he’s been hooked ever since. He’s been role playing since thirteen, and is a great fan of D&D and Warhammer. He’s a big fan of Tennessee football (the American kind!) and is usually glued to a TV watching the game on Saturdays.
He jokes that he has no life, but that’s just because he doesn’t care that he loves video games. If you get on a vent server with him, you’ll likely hear a large dosage of heavy metal blaring through your speakers, if you can get past his southern accent.
Space Chutney / Robert Jenman
CEO of a successful NRDS Corporation, Wildlands Heavy Technologies, which has been operating out of 0.0 since inception. With operations in all areas of EVE, PvP, production and logistics for both itself, its members and its alliance around the clock, personal interests and management in the constant production of entire fleets every day for various clients, with the occasionally indulgence in some shooting having taken part over the years with fighting BoB, FIX, LV, Veritas, Ev0ke and a number of big historic entities.
In life, from and living in the south of England, I oversee development and database admin work for a number of larger companies and individuals, splashing most (all) the money on evenings out, computers and sometimes food. Currently enjoying lots of D&B, Dance, House music.
Ebonezer Skrewed / James Innes
I neither consider myself a newbie nor vet of EVE-Online. I in fact hold myself to the demographic of middleman. That doesn’t mean too much too many people. From the point of view from a newbie or a veteran, I’m that kind of guy that floats around and does nothing in between bursts of small activity. My name is Ebonezer Skrewed, and for all intents and purposes I’m a college student, or a bum, by most people’s standards. In the day and age of people hustling and bustling back and fourth between work and EVE-Online, I once again fit into the middle demographic. I sit and study during the day and then I play EVE-Online at night, having no real job at this moment while then moving in between studying and playing EVE-Online. Perhaps some day I’ll be a vet. Not now, though.
Black Claw / Alan Howard
Black Claw is a Gallente living and working in Minmatar space, in Molden Heath. Currently working missions for the Republic Fleet, he helps them keep the area safe from hostiles. When he’s not ‘on duty’, he can be found carefully exploring the lowsec areas, building his skills in combat by facing off against other pilots. He mostly loses, but he knows that perseverence pays off. One day…. His website can be found here.
Alan Howard is the man behind the character. He loves writing, and loves exploring themes of personal growth in his writing. His characters grow, and as they grow, they help others grow. When he’s working, he’s a Business Analyst, helping companies grow. There’s a theme there … He loves gaming online or around the table. He also loves driving, photography, travel, social networking, and blogging. His website can be found here.
Ecaf Ersa / Tony Moore
Hi, I am Ecaf (pronounced e-kaff) Ersa. Ecaf is a Gallente pilot a bit over a year and a half. He does/has done a variety of things in EVE, all reasonably well if not spectacularly – missioning, mining, industry and PvP. He has spent various periods living in high and null sec and is currently spending his time building capital ships for his fellow corp members. Despite the subject of his first article in EVE-Mag (or anywhere in fact), he does not yet fly one – unless you include a freighter that is.
The man behind Ecaf is Tony Moore – a middle aged Brit living in Switzerland who works in a small specialised corner of the very broadly defined finance industry – don’t ask for more detail, unless you have trouble sleeping that is. He is father and husband to the only things more important to him than EVE! At weekends in the winter you may find him hurtling down a mountain on a thin plank of wood. He is yet to grow up properly and still dreams of flying spaceships – accepting the reality that this is very unlikely to happen in real life he does it in the virtual world of EVE instead.
If you feel so inclined you can contact him via eMail or ingame via the usual channels.
Silene Derbhan / Sebastien Blondel
Silene is a nice Amarr pilot roaming in empire space hoping he will find an easy way to become extremely rich without too much effort. Though very keen on the idea of restoration of slavery, he has yet to find any Gallente who would gladly submit to his will and run missions in his place. Bored by anything but the fights, he tries to file petitions against the very existence of courier mission, with very little results so far. He has the tendency to train any skill that may not be relevant for him, and as such is still far from setting foot on a Battleship. He will claim to everybody that he is the nicest of carebears, but his black heart is filled with hopes of destruction and universe domination. He really is quite useless in the end.
His real life impersonator has far less ambition. From gall…hum French origin, he is living a peaceful life in the Netherlands, in the loving care of his wife and daughter. Soon to be unemployed, he’d love to work from home in order to raise his little treasure until she’s one or two years old. His passions reside mainly in the videogame and book areas, with lots of Japanese RPGs, board games, science fiction and unreadable French authors. He probably went into Eve the morning he woke up believing his name was Honor Harrington. No doctor has found the solution yet.
His own website about modern forms of narrative works can be found here.
Trialga / Bryan Burr
Bryan is a new player to EVE, but is thoroughly enjoying learning and progressing. He spends most of his time in New Eden mining or doing the odd mission, learning new skills and saving up money for the next ship or other piece of equipment. Being new, he’s hoping he’ll be able to learn a lot from fellow players, as well as share the insight of someone new to such a huge expanse.
Outside of EVE, he is a seventeen year old high school student from Florida. When he’s not doing homework, he enjoys playing video games and programming. He’d like to attend the United States Air Force Academy, where he’d like to study Computer Science and continue programming, and he would like to eventually fly for the Air Force, but above all he would like to be an Air Force officer.
Gavri’el / Sébastien Ferland
Gavri’el is a pure Gallente Special Ops mission runner. Keeping in the best tradition of the Gallente, who are typically free-spirited, space-faring explorers, he’s travelled far to find his niche… in Caldari space. He’s fairly new with all the different notions of running an enterprise in empire space, but his love of space keeps him coming back for more daily. He’s fiercely loyal to his friends, and deadly against his enemies. More importantly, he’s not all about ISK; his priorities will always lie with his corpmates.
Gavri’el was also intended, from his creation, to be something more than his current state. Gavri’el, in old Earth Spanish, means ‘Man of God’. Gavri’el himself is not aware as of now that there may be a higher calling for him in the distant future.
His human creator is known in real-life as Sébastien Ferland; some may know him as Couzin2000 as well. French-speaking Canadian author of the Eve blog EVEolutions, an avid freelance webdesigner, an opinionated writer and an expert in energy efficiency, he’s also a seasoned musician, an advocate of free open-source software (whew), and is part of a minority of minorities – he plays Eve-Online on Ubuntu Linux. Always against the grain, always pushing boundaries, and hopefully leaving his mark on this real-life world.

Eve Blog: EVEolutions
Manasi
Manasi is an alliance PvP pilot flying with CEPTACEMIA. He flies ‘ceptors, broadswords, Kitsune’s and Scorpions, in addition to other craft. He has played the game since May 30th 2003, although he restarted in earnest in October 2007 again. A stubborn pilot, with a definitive set of opinions Manasi strives to help those out he can. He is a writer for ENN, and publishes his blog: A Mule in EVE
Sunforge / John Herd
Sunforge has been kicking around the universe for a while. The universe sometimes kicks back, which is painful, costly and a cause of much complaint. Sun has big plans to rectify this problem when he’s got his act together, sometime around 2020. He’s a fully paid up high priest of the Temple of the Big Hand and maintains a small shrine wherever he goes, if you want to know more convo him. In his spare time you will find him juggling flaming Chihuahuas as part of a bizarre double act with a comedy circus dwarf and is available for weddings, funerals and bar mitzvah’s at very favourable rates.
Sunforge’s owner has a lively social life with many imaginary friends who gather round to comment loudly on his appalling play style, naiveté and general cluelessness. Sometimes his imaginary friends give him a break and go pick on someone else in the asylum but he knows that they’ll be back and this time, they’ll be wanting answers. In his spare time he plays old fashioned pen and paper RPG’s and sometimes has the time to sit and stare, slack jawed and drooling, at this computer screen so he can, you know, type and do stuff.
M4g3ll4n (Mag)
In-game character: M4g3ll4n – simply called Mag – is CEO of a small corporation (Circle of Shadows) for more than two years now. He spent his first days with doing missions for the Gallentean Federation and switched to the industrial sector after a while to boost the Federations supply. After a while he opened his own corporation together with a friend and started to going deeper into game content. He moved through Deklein and Vale of the Silent and made experiences in alliance warfare and 0.0 space holding. Besides piloting capitals he is a mining expert and focuses on production to be able to re-build the ships he lost.
Out-of-game character: The “RL” counterpart of Mag is a researcher at university on the field of computer sciences. In his spare time he is, besides playing Eve, developing PHP applications, playing Eressea (play by email), and reading books (including the Eve Novel). He maintains an eve website for his corporation and develops Eve API tools. You can find his personal website at nafz-dot-org (www.nafz.org)
Securitas Protector
Securitas Protector is a young college student who fervently hopes to one day be a doctor, specifically a oncologist/hematologist. In the meanwhile, he blows up internet spaceships(or gets blown up rather) and watches the sovereignty maps religiously. He loves writing and reading, and is a real-life nanofag. He enjoys coffee, tea, and other heated, flavored drinks, along the order of 8 or so cups a day.
Securitas dreams of starting his own successful corporation and eventually alliance, as well as owning a cap ship or two, although that seems rather unlikely at this point. In the meanwhile, though, he spends his days happily ratting in Fountain as a Pandemic Legion renter, enjoying those oh-so-sweet Serpentis High Admiral spawns and mining to his hearts content. He loves everybody in New Eden and wishes them a great day.
Dangerous Daswe / Matt Dawson
Well in-game I’m Dangerous Daswe, a self admitted Gallente, converted to Caldari and then back again player. Easy going and fun would be the 2 main ways I’d describe myself in the game, love doing my missions and ridding the game of those pesky rats where I can. I’m the head recruitment guy in my corp. Everyone knows me as DD, but people who know me, know the name has more meaning than just my eve name lol.
Out of the Game, it’s Matt all the way, work in a computer store providing Business Support and Hardware to business customer in my area, all in all it pays enough for me to play eve so all good, and staff discount on parts helps me keep my computer playing eve better and better.
I’m from Stoke-on-Trent, UK, been here all my life and currently I’m 23 years old. If you need to know anything convo me in-game and I’m likely to help where I can.
My website is www.surrendermonkey.wetpaint.com, just a small project I’ve been working on, I blog on there and whilst it’s still a work in progress a lot of my corp use it.
TrDuff
This Minmatar character was born on November, 24 in 2005. He was a loner for a month before deciding to join a corporation to advance and to learn more about this complicated universe called Eve-Online. He decided upon TOG (‘The Older gamers’) after reviewing the long list of corporations on the eve Corporations page. TOG accepted me and I had a new home in Dysa, Derelik.
Within a year of me joining TOG they were accepted into the ASCN alliance. Which gave me a new home deep in southern null space. This was right before BOB decided to take over the entire Universe. We all know how well that went for ASCN. Even though I ended up losing my new null space home I learned a lot about living in null space and fleet battles. I am fairly talented at losing ships. I then lost interest in Eve altogether, left TOG, started my own one man corp NOCS (No One Cares) and stopped playing altogether for over a year until very recently.
I have never been a rich pilot the most I have ever had was around 250 Million while in null space. I lost 100 of that to a simple 10x market scam during a late night sleepy moment. Then I lost a couple Ravens in lvl 4 missions, since the rats started warp scrambling. So I decided to listen to the “never fly what you can’t afford to lose’ philosophy. This new philosophy forced me to start specializing in T1 and T2 frigates.
Commissar Rel
When he’s not munchin’ on some chips or pwning sum newbs, he’s sitting pretty on some gate in some far off system. A man with a full 1/2 a year under his belt and a good pocket full of friends, Commissar Rel is a stern commander and a powerful ally to have. He writes fan-fiction on the side of some improving art skills, and hopes to have a good future ahead of him.
RothimusPrime / Robert
In EVE: RothimusPrime is a very new player, but has learned quickly and been given several great opportunities early on. I am currently a Director of the Kaizen Brotherhood Corporation (KAIB). We are building this Corp from the bottom up, but have a CEO with several years of experience and the ability to launch this Corp quickly. I intend to become the CFO of our Corp and handle trading, but eventually get into PvP.
I enjoy EVE and am now enjoying writing about EVE. I like the more business side of the EVE universe, as opposed to fighting, but I do enjoy a good fight now and again. I intend to write about my journey through EVE from my beginning and on, as well as any contract work offered to me, or anything else that presents itself.
Contact me if interested in joining our Corp, all applicants considered.
Not in EVE: I am 26 yrs old and located in the state of Colorado, USA. I work as a Financial Consultant (stock broker). I am currently engaged and have 2 dogs (boxers). I enjoy doing anything on the computer from gaming to website design.
I am the Director of Operations for www.HBD-Gaming.com. HBD is/was BF2 and Call of Duty FPS clan, however it has slowly become more of a gaming community. We are currently working on implementing an EVE division and aligning HBD with the KAIB Corp I mentioned above. That’s me!
Shae Tiann / Elizabeth Wyand
Shae Tiann started her life in Eve as a terrified newbie, too nervous to leave 0.9 space, wary of any trip which required more than three jumps. Then a reformed pirate showed her the joys of lowsec and mercenary work, and it was a match made in New Eden. Shae camped MHC and terrified highsec carebears with Atrocitas alliance until the alliance took up piracy and moved to Kor-Azor. There, Shae rose to the position of alliance diplomat for her ability to get along well with nearly everyone, despite her tendency to laugh maniacally whilst popping pods and tanking sentry guns. She has served time in nullsec alliance Tygris, and with relief eventually returned to true outlawry in the ranks of the Hellcats, Eve’s only all-female pirating corp.
Her alter-ego is a 26-year-old dreadlocked compulsive artist/writer from a Connecticut fishing village who moved to a big city in Scotland in 2003. She’s currently studying for a degree in architectural technology, which she doesn’t want, and hoping to get into game design as a concept artist. She maintains the Eve-centric blog Sweet Little Bad Girl and wishes she could have a cat in her tiny shared flat.
